Inamo

If there's one thing that annoys my mum about me; it's that I'm always having dinner outside of the house (apart from that I really am the golden child).
About 5 minutes after she finished telling me that "I'm never at home" she then showed me this deal on TimeOut for unlimited sushi and Asian tapas with bottomless prosecco at Inamo!  She then proceeded to be surprised when I told her booked it with my favourite foodie friend (Oh Mum!).

Service and ambience:

When we arrived I was greeted politely by the staff and they took us to our table. I got there first and decided to wait at the table for my friend.  I'd been to the Soho branch before and found that that branch was much more spacious. The table we were initially given was quite a small one that was very close to the people sitting next to us. I managed to blag a switch just before my fried got there.

The restaurant is based on an interactive system where you order your food on an tablet and you can use the tables to play games, draw or watch the chef cook your meal. It's a lot of fun, except that ours got stuck on a game. We mentioned it to a couple of waiters but they didn't do much to fix it.

Having said that, the food arrived quickly and the waiters were always  friendly. We realised that they were super super busy with all the people who had bought the deal and more excited about the food than the table!

Food:

The goal when we got here was to devour as much of the menu as we could over the 90 minutes that we had and I think for two small ladies we did well!

We started off with a glass of prosecco and salmon tataki which was so good we ordered it twice.

Salmon tataki with a sweet miso and yuzu dressing and a crunchy Wakame seaweed salad

We then went on to try the wings and calamari and then tried all the different sushi they had.  The wings were great and flavourful.  The portions were actually quite large which took us by surprise.

Salt and Pepper Squid

Korean chicken wings and the screen that our table got stuck on!

We quickly realised that we'd have to stick to small food like gyoza and sushi to get through as much of the menu as possible.

Tuna and cucumber maki

Spicy salmon maki

Red Dragon Roll - I never thought I could like veg sushi until I had this

Chicken and vegetable gyoza

What we hadn't realised until we saw the table next to us was truly how much unlimited the prosecco was - they got through 3 bottles in the hour and a half!

The deal on the Inamo website is currently £42.  We got this deal for £30 with TimeOut and I feel for the amount of food and prosecco we had (or the amount you could potentially get through) it was really worth it.  The food at Inamo is generally quite good and for what we paid I thought it was quite a good deal.
