What happens when you plan Valentine's Day with your best friend...

So V-Day got off to a swinging start! For once I arrived on time; my friend was late and I spent the first 20 minutes enduring the confused looks of Valentine couples. I eventually found my way to the bar they have in the middle and got myself a glass of wine.

Swingers has an awesome vibe. The staff are friendly and were joking around with us (they'd clearly figured out we had taken V-day into our own hands!).

When I arrived I checked in and got our time slot within our booked time. The slots start every 5 minutes and while you're waiting you can grab  drink at the bar or a bite to eat. We were assigned The Windmill, a course with 9 holes that progressively gets more difficult. We had lots of fun on the course -we're both very competitive.

After making our way around The Windmill, having seen a Patty and Bun on site, we decided were hungry (always hungry!) and that cocktails were much needed. We decided to go for the tacos from DF/Mexico and the wings from Patty and Bun and weren't disappointed. We went for the Baja fish tacos, grilled chicken tacos and the winger winger chicken dinner wings. For drinks I had a Frosé (frozen rosé , vermouth and strawberry puree) and my friend got the Cherry baby (ameretto and cherry heering liqueur) - which we ended up swapping!

I definitely want to come back here. I had a great time and it's always fun to do something that's more active. They have a great selection of food and drinks and a general awesome vibe!
